Zeit Der Dunkelheit, founded by Jim Kakes in London in 2024. They are the new force in the music scene, seamlessly blending the darkness of black metal with the melodies of medieval folk. Their innovative approach to music sets them apart, creating a unique sound that has never been heard before.

With the release of their debut EP, "Das Ende Der Zeit,"
on the 24th of February 2024, Zeit Der Dunkelheit
demonstrated their exceptional songwriting ability, with
tunes that evoke both the desire to dance and a profound
sense of melancholy simultaneously. Since their
inception, they have been one of the busiest and fastest-
releasing bands in their genre, counting eight releases so
far, including one EP and seven singles.

Their debut full-length album, "Die Letzten Tage," was released on September 6th 2024. Within just ten
months, they have released 20 songs, garnering
significant attention from the music industry. Their work
has already accumulated over 150,000 streams on Spotify,
highlighting their growing impact.

Zeit Der Dunkelheit are not afraid to experiment,
combining the likes of black metal with medieval folk—
two sensitive genres that they make coexist beautifully,
almost creating a new genre. This bold approach opens
new pathways for experimentation and inspires other
artists as well. They introduce instruments like bagpipes,
hurdy-gurdy, medieval recorders, flutes, and percussion
into black metal arrangements, adding a distinctive flair
to their sound.
