ABOUT

Founded by high school friends in March of 2011, the band has been one of the fastest-rising acts in the Athenian scene. Early on in their career, Mindthreat secured a slot to perform at the prestigious Wacken Open Air festival in 2012. That moment was crucial for the band, who then began building an international audience, all while maintaining their trailblazer status in their local scene.

Advocating quality over quantity, MINDTHREAT’s early releases were very limited. It wasn’t until 2018, after signing with the German record label Bleeding Nose Records, that they released their debut full length album titled “Black Dreams”. The album cemented Mindthreat’s sound in the metalcore spectrum and allowed them to grow into an autonomous entity, able to further explore different nuances of the genre without limiting themselves to generic outlines. The skillset they developed was pivotal in their ever-present quest to push their artistic limits.

In the wake of releasing several standalone singles and videos the previous years, garnering a combined 300.000 views on YouTube and over 500.000 Streams on Spotify, Mindthreat are spreading their influence across Europe and the UK in 2024. This marks the beginning of a new era for the band, propelling them to new heights in the metalcore scene.

Their musicality and dedication to collective hard work have allowed them to strike a perfect balance between their metalcore roots and captivating melodic hooks, all of which translate into incendiary live performances. Over the years, Mindthreat have graced countless stages, both in Greece and abroad, sharing the spotlight with international bands such as Whitechapel, Oceans Ate Alaska, Deez Nuts, Comeback Kid and The Devil Wears Prada. Notable festival appearances include Wacken Open Air (2012), Total Metal Festival (2014), Rockstadt Extreme, Aggressive Music Festival, and Carpathian Alliance (2015).

They continuously release new music while preparing for their second full length album expected in early 2025.
